2021 Witches Paddle for The Family Pantry of Cape Cod
We are beyond thrilled with the results of our first official fundraising event! On October 2nd the witches showed up to paddle despite the wicked winds. Thanks to our amazing volunteers for making sure the day went so smoothly with set up, parking, off-loading and loading boards, check-in and safety checks. The Sunny Side Down food truck cooked up some tasty bites for the crowd, volunteers from the Monomoy Honor Society sold raffle tickets, and the lovely Denise Pressman from Fleeting Moments Photography captured the entire event. Stephanie Viva from The Dunes X1023 FM emceed the entire event with music and humor! At the end of the day we conjured up a whopping $20,000 for the Family Pantry of Cape Cod. Chris Menard, Executive Director of The Family Pantry of Cape Cod equated the amount to 80,000 meals!
We are so very grateful to all our sponsors, volunteers and of course, all of our witchy paddlers who did a significant amount of the fundraising and paddled their hearts out. We could not have done it without all of you. Thank you. Stay magical.
