The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Cape Cod is a grass-roots non-profit organization serving individuals and their families who are affected by the broad spectrum of mental illness and neurological disorders through support, education, and advocacy and promotes mental wellness for all. This organization is instrumental in identifying the mental health needs of the Cape and Islands’ diverse populations and, in collaboration with community partners, envisioning and implementing a comprehensive system that integrates mental health as an essential component of health care that is accessible to all. They have tackled monumental struggles to create paths forward for anyone affected by mental illness. Every service they provide is free.
